Katzenjammer
The Norwegian band’ name hhoes traight back on one of the earliest modern comic strips The Katzenjammer Kids from 1897. The band earned their popularity and reputation with playing a few very successful gigs. One particular at a musical congress and festival called ‘by:Lärm’ in 2008 would become their breakthrough. It’s also been the year they released their debut album ‘Le Pop’ for which they received a nomination for the Norwegian Grammy.

The Hooters
Way back at the start of the 1980s it was that the story of THE HOOTERS had its start. After a time filled with playing mostly local clubs which of course was to change with their debut album ‘Amore’ becoming such a success. Holding such early hits as ‘All You Zombies’ and ‘Hanging On A Heartbeat’ it was safe to say the band was tipped for it and the second album ‘Nervous Night’ becoming a million seller firmly underpinned that.

Dark Decadence Tour 2011: Hardcore Superstar, The 69 Eyes, Crash Diet
For fans of heavy Scandinavian metal there’s a real treat coming up with the Dark Decadence tour 2011 where 3 bands from Sweden and Finland are coming together, all indulging in different facets of the genre. The first one being HARDCORE SUPERSTAR, playing a bastard kind of music you won’t get to hear anywhere else. However, for the guys from Gothenburg it is absolutely no biggie mixing Sleaze Rock with Thrash Metal and throwing in cover versions ranging from THE WHO over ALICE COOPER over to INXS for good measure.

Queens Of The Stone Age
Following the breakup of in the meantime reformed KYUSS in 1996 and after having played in one or the other band, Josh Homme began to realize the only thing that could really make him happy was an own new band, so he founded GAMMA RAY in 1997, renamed to QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE eventually because there’s already German band called GAMA RAY. 1998 saw the release of the self-titled debut album to rave reception, followed by a long lasting tour around the world.
