VNV NATION (Victory not Vengeance) is an English-Irish Future-Pop band founded in 1990. The band consists of singer and song writer Ronan Harris and drummer Mark Jackson. Their music is a mixture of danceable electronic rhythms, pop music, Techno trance and orchestral influences. The band can be counted as one of the leading acts in the alternative Electronic Music scene.
Their albums are every time in the upper third of the major charts, e.g. the album appeared in 2007, 'Judgement', was on place 1 of the DAC album charts. Their current album 'Faith, Power And Glory’, appeared in 2009. Finally after about 2 years they'll come again to Munich. On 18th of September 2011 they will visit the Backstage Werk in Munich. They are accompanied by German dance Project STRAFTANZ founded in 2006.
