Every month anew the renowned Visions music magazine is hosting a little event called “Club Sabotage“ at the new FZW in Dortmund throwing in good rock music and party to have a rousing start of the weekend. The main highlight on stage surely will be MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE having just finished the works on their newest album titled 'Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys', following up the acclaimed 'The Black Parade' from 2006. The fresh material they're bringing in on stage will surely cater as much for an exciting evening as their older songs will do.

Alter Bridge
When in 2004 one of the spearheads of the post-grunge movement CREED parted ways with their singer, the remaining members enlisted a new singer and gave birth to ALTER BRIDGE, retaining the former bands sound to a certain extend while simultaneously adding a tinge of Blues and more metal, setting them apart from that band's sound. Their first album 'One Day Remains' instantly became a hit and helped getting them on larger tours instantly playing to huge audience.

Tarot, The Man-Eating Tree, The Claymore
The Finnish band TAROT came into being in the mid 1980s, formed by the two Hietala, one of which you might know as being a member of NIGHTWISH since 2001. The band's first album would be seeing the light of day already in 1986 with 'Spell Of Iron'. After their second album 'Follow Me Into Madness' was released, the band ceased from the spotlights until 1993 when their third album 'To Live Forever' was released, especially receiving very good recognition in Japan.

Yesterday, the world lost one of its greatest rock singers: GOTTHARD front man Steve Lee was killed in an accident during a motorcycle trip in the US on Interstate 15 between Mesquite and Las Vegas through no fault of its own. Just the weekend before Steve Lee and friends travelled over to the US to make a dream finally come true – Travelling through the states for two weeks. Since it started raining the group of bikers stopped to take on their rain clothes! The trailer of one of the trucks passing them by was spinning out on the slippery street; the driver tried an evasive maneuver, hit five of the motorcycle one of which would become fatal for the singer. All attempts to reanimate him were cancelled after 20 minutes. Steve Lee died at the place of crash at the age of 48.Source: Newsletter

Elektrostat is the biggest electro / alternative music festival in Norway. Located in Oslo, it’s been attracting fans since 1999 with an excellent choice of bands. You can listen to anything from EBM to Gothic rock. They also have DJs that know their job, after parties. The location is pretty amazing. Månefisken cafe is an old red brick industrial warehouse, famous for its underground parties and eye-catching interior, an excellent venue for this type of event. The organisers pride themselves both in popularising Norwegian underground music and in their superb choice of foreign bands. This year, among others, they’ve invited CLAN OF XYMOX and MESH. Undoubtedly none of the bands need to be introduced here! I’ve been lucky enough to interview CLAN OF XYMOX straight after their performance at Elektrostat and you can read the text here.
