Dear Amphi fans, before we start today, we´d like to thank you for your widespread praise and appreciation concerning the already confirmed Amphi programme 2010, we received in the weeks since the first artist announcements back in August. We are happy that the choice of bands, as it stands today, has been received so tremendously well, with many of you thinking the next year to be even stronger than 2009. Still we keep pushing the race for the best amphi ever and we´re thrilled to announce the near-completion of the 2010 Amphi programme, including 7 fantastic new entries, really worthwhile!

Trash metal band SLAYER has postponed their European tour. Due to back problems of their bass player Tom Araya and the lead singer. All the European concerts from the 'World Painted Blood' tour are relocated to March 2010. The concert tickets stay valid on the new date. Months before the tour, the band will share the stage with MEGADETH. For the first time since 1991. Together they gave a new dimension to the metal scene and eighteen years after the 'Clash Of The Titans' tour it is time for a reunion. In Canada and the US the package 'American Carnage' will sell their tickets for 10 dollars (same price as in the early days).

In 1995, the Middle Ages Rock band IN EXTREMO (short: InEx) was founded in Berlin. Currently, the band exists of singer “Das Letzte Einhorn” (Michael Robert Rhein), “Van Lange” (Sebastian Oliver Lange - guitar, Cister), “Der Morgenstern” (Reiner Morgenroth - percussion, kettledrum), "Die Lutter" (Kay Lutter - bass, kettledrum), "Dr. Pymonte" (André Strugala - shawm, harp), “Flex der Biegsame” (Marco Ernst-Felix Zorzytzky - shawm, hurdy-gurdy) and "Yellow Pfeiffer" (Boris Pfeiffer - Nyckelharpa, shawm).

Peter Heppner & Band - Solo Tour 2010
The German singer Peter Heppner became known in 1987 as writer and singer of the duet WOLFSHEIM from Hamburg. Beside his work with WOLFSHEIM, he still has other projects together with e.g. Schiller, Joachim Witt, Paul van Dyk. His first own solo album ‘Solo’, which reached rank 9 in the charts, was published in 2008. For his music with WOLFSHEIM - the band split up by now - and Schiller he received an "Echo" award.
