Here’s a message directly from the band concerning their participation at Danish Metal Awards:”Just wanted to let you know about some big news in The Burnings camp! :-) It is finally confirmed that we will be performing at this year’s Danish Metal Awards, alongside MESHUGGAH, MNEMIC and ARTILLERY. Also we are the most nominated band this year with 4 nominations for "REWAKENING", including the "big one" Best metal album of 2009, so we are very happy with that :-) You can see the nominees below:

The self-titled debut album from BEYOND THE MORNINGLIGHT has been released on 15th November on Misantrof ANTIRecords, the label founded and headed by CARPATHIAN FOREST bass player DANIEL VRANGSINN, who also produced, mixed and mastered the album. Norwegian experimental punk rockers LYDIA LASKA are close to completing work on their new album, due out around March 2010, and which, according to drummer Voldswagen, has been a long time in the making: “We started recording in the summer of 2006, and had to take detours round the usual chaos that seemed to follow LYDIA LASKA around, and at times it felt like we were working on our own little “Chinese Democracy”. But it’s all finished now except for the mastering, and we’ve left all the problems behind us and become a bit more “civilised”, believe it or not! We’ve produced an album that’s a lot more inventive than anything we’ve done before, and we’re very happy with the result”.- SVARTTHRON - New album to be released next year
