Green Day
The US-American Punk-Rock band was founded in 1987 originally under the name "The Secret Children" by singer Billie Joe Armstrong, John Kiffmeyer and Michael Ryan Pritchard. Their best known albums up to now are the albums appeared in 1994 ‘Dookie’ and ‘American Idiot’ from 2004. On the 15th of May, 2009 they published their newest work ‘21st Century Breakdown’ which immediately landed in the first week on place 1 of the German album charts. It contains 18 songs and is split in three acts: Act 1: Heroes and Cons, Act 2: Charlatans and Saints and Act 3: Horseshoes and Handgrenades.

She writes:
It’s been a bumpy year so far and I would like to update you a little. Unfortunately my band After Forever stopped and that mend the start of a new period. Looking back I realize how many great and amazing things I got to do and that inspires me to go full speed ahead with new music.

New album, new single, new tour... Bristol's e-pop-icons MESH are back! It's been three years since MESH released their last studio album, the highly acclaimed "We Collide". Now, working with Dependent Records (Europe) and Metropolis Records (North America), the band is back with a new single, a new tour, and a new album:"A Perfect Solution".The limited edition single will be out in September. The limited edition single will be out in September, followed by the full length album in October. Finally, November will see the band embark on an extended tour of Europe and the UK. Former New Order members Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris and Phil Cunningham have formed a brand new band, without ex-bassist Peter Hook that is. The collective is called 'Bad Lieutenant' and also features Blur's Alex James on bass. The band has already completed the recordings of an album, set for release in October. The material is said to be more guitar based than New Order, not exactly surprising since the band features three guitarists.New Order split last summer, with Hook falling out with his former band mates. Note that so far Bad Lieutenant has no website presence at al, just like New Order never had one.
