THE FLAMES are back: The new single ‘Lunatic Dreams’ comes out on 6th March and the album Caution: Heat Inside’ will be released on 3rd April 2009. But that’s not all! After the album release the four-piece hits the road for an unusual tour through Germany’s cinemas. When their song ‘Everytime’ became a cult hit through the commercials of a soft drink manufacturer it was the breakthrough for the band from Mannheim after 10 years of band history. The four-piece around Oliver Heydenreich went on tour, the media presence at the huge TV stations and concerts in front of a big audience did their fair share and brought the single into the charts. But many were wondering why there wasn’t a follow-up in the same style. Instead THE FLAMES kept true to their usual sound on ‘Strike A Light’ (2005) being much more rock-oriented. NO winder as ‘Everytime’ not only was a commissioned work but a rather untypical song for the band.- Details

Dear supporters. The time has finally come. The CINEMA BIZARRE website goes online with a new look. The site holds many surprises for you and we’re looking forward to your comments. ON 17th March, a limited 2-track single is going to be released in the US to hype up the US fans for the band, featuring ‘Lovesongs (They kill me)’ and a remix of ‘Escape to the stars’. The German and European fans should mark 1st May as the new CINEMA BIZARRE single will be released as MCD and as digital download. The single is called ‘Erase and Replace’.Source: Newsletter

On 10th June 2009, DEPECHE MODE will be guests at Berlin’s Olympia stadium (In case you didn’t know). For that occasion there’s an international fan convention taking place the day before at the Postbahnhof. NITZER EBB will be headlining this event and together with DE/VISION will get their fans and the DEPECHE MODE community in the right mood for the next day.Admission is 26 EUR (+ presale charges).
