KVELERTAK is a young Norwegian band from Stavanger. All songs have lyrics in their Norwegian mother tongue. Musically, you cannot really define the style of the band because they combine different elements and have their own unique style. Hardcore, Punk, Rock'n'Roll and even Black Metal influences are heard by the guys. All this leads to the fact that there is only one direction at KVELERTAK: forward with full throttle.
The Scandinavians have published already three albums and collected enough live experience. They were on tour as support with ANTHRAX and SLAYER. Their third album has become slightly more melodic compared to the debut album of 2010. With this new album, the band has already developed further and expanded its facetted range. KVELERTAK have successively enlarged their own fan base always convincing and accompanying live performances. Expansive riffing and many songs that can be safely referred to as earwigs are certainly one of their hallmarks. The last album ‘Nattesferd’ was recorded in Oslo. Erlend Hjelvik, the front man of the band, thinks it is the band's best ever. Visit the concert and you will not be disappointed.
