SCHANDMAUL (whose name is an old German word for someone who gossips) were founded near Munich, Bavaria, and the band is one of the oldest and most famous medieval rock bands. They mix modern with medieval instruments and their music has influences of Folk, Rock and Medieval music; their lyrics are mostly in German and the motifs of the songs are often persons of medieval society, their life, love and suffering.
SCHANDMAUL have published nine studio albums and three live albums so far. Don’t miss them at the “Artus Tour” this year!
