Midge Ure 2022 - The Voice & Visions Tour
MIDGE URE returns to the concert stage in 2022 with the new tour “Voice & Visions”. The tour will include highlights from the two top five ULTRAVOX albums of 1981 and 1982 - ‘Rage in Eden’ and ‘Quartet’, as well as a selection of other solo and band hits. The new tour follows on from 2019s sold-out “1980 Vienna / Visage” tour, which saw Midge and his “Band Electronica” carry the platinum-selling ‘Vienna’ album around the world - while they could due to the global pandemic.
Midge says: “Following the initial success of the ‘Vienna’ album, the years 1981-1982 in which we as a band created the albums ‘Rage In Eden’ and ‘Quartet’ were a rush of creativity and lots of touring that passed far too quickly. I look forward to digging into these two albums again to revitalize the textures and power of these two albums where I feel ULTRAVOX was at the peak of our creative powers.”
