Just a few weeks after LOREENA MCKENNITT announced her 27-city US/ Canada tour in the fall, comes the happy news that there is a European tour in spring 2024 that will tour through 10 countries and in which Loreena will play 25 concerts. McKennitt comes with four of her longtime band members to support her on her “The Visit Revisited Tour”. The start is on March 6th, 2024 in Eindhoven/ Holland and the tour ends on April 8th in London/ UK. The tour celebrates the anniversary of their Juno Award-winning album ‘The Visit’, released in 1991 - which will be performed in its entirety, plus, of course, fan favourites and the classics. This album catapulted Loreena onto the world stage from which she has become an integral part. “2019 was the last time I gave concerts in Europe and a lot has happened since then. It’s going to be wonderful and I’m really happy to finally be back in Europe and of course I’m happy to see familiar faces, all my fans, who I’ve certainly missed during these turbulent times,” says McKennitt.McKennitt is accompanied by Caroline Lavelle/ cello, Brian Hughes/ guitar, Hugh Marsh/ violin and Dudley Phillips/ bass. LOREENA MCKENNITT’s eclectic mix of Celtic, Pop, Folk and World Music has sold over 15 million albums. Her albums have gone gold, platinum and multi-platinum in 15 countries, she has been nominated for a Grammy twice and has won two Juno Awards and the Billboard International Achievement Award. She has played live in historic and world-famous venues: from Carnegie Hall to the Royal Albert Hall to the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, as well as in front of high-ranking personalities such as the late Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.
