La Femme - “Rock Machine Tour 2025”
LA FEMME return to their first love, the New Wave of ‘Psycho Tropical Berlin’ (“Machine”), which they fuse with an Anglo-Saxon Rock sound of the 80s / 90s (“Rock”). The album is a tribute to rock, its effectiveness and timelessness. LA FEMME makes Rock with machines with their recently released new album ‘Rock Machine’.
After ‘Psycho Tropical Berlin’, ‘Mystères’ and ‘Paradigmes’, the band founded by Marlon Magnée and Sacha Got return with ‘Rock Machine’, their first album written entirely in English. Composed over the last few years during various tours around the world, this new LP was heavily inspired by a series of performances in the US. ‘Rock Machine’, armed with a new electro-arena rock sound, is an open-minded album ready to conquer an even wider international audience.
With ‘Rock Machine’, LA FEMME continues to develop a timeless, multidimensional universe with its own sound and unique aesthetic. The first single, ‘Ciao Paris’, is a metaphorical farewell to France and references 60s YéYé Pop flavoured with Electro-Surf. With ‘Clover Paradise’, the band invites us onto a dark, hypnotic dance floor. ‘Love Is Over’ is a haunting New Wave ballad reminiscent of the Madchester bands of the 90s that played at the Hacienda Club. ‘Venus’ is an irresistible, intoxicating encounter between the VELVET UNDERGROUND and THE MAMAS AND THE PAPAS. In addition to Rock and Synth Wave sounds, there is also Electro (‘Sweet Babe’), Disco in a British Punk version (‘My Generation’) and many other surprises.
