E-tropolis Festival 2025 with Mesh, Solar Fake, Hocico, Aesthetic Perfection, Rotersand, Empathy Test, Spetsnaz and many more
On the 22nd March, some of the finest bands of the Electro scene will meet again in Oberhausen at the E-tropolis Festival. On this evening, every visitor will be offered something for their personal taste. Spread over two halls, a wide range of bands from the genres of Synth Pop, Industrial and Aggrotech will be performing. Since the first Etropolis in 2010, the festival for electronic underground music has become increasingly well-known, successful and also bigger. Not only has the number of visitors increased, but also the number of bands taking part in the evening. The festival was spread over two halls.
In 2025, E-tropolis will take place for the 13th time in Oberhausen’s Turbinenhalle and its neighbouring Turbinenhalle 2. A wide variety of genres will once again be on show and heard, from harder Aggro-Tech to classic EBM and Electro-Pop. In addition to well-known bands that have been performing for decades, there will also be artists who are still young and less experienced. So every visitor to E-tropolis will find their favourites and will almost certainly spend the evening dancing and sweating. In a separate area between the two halls, you can retreat and indulge in culinary delights. Jewellery, T-shirts and other merchandise will once again be on sale at various stands.
The headliners this year are MESH. For the first time, the band from Bristol will perform for the audience at the E-tropolis Festival, presenting an extended set featuring classics, new and old songs, fan favourites, tracks that haven’t been played in a long time, as well as singles and album tracks. But also, other well-known bands of the scene, like SOLAR FAKE, AESTHETIC PERFECTION, ROTERSAND and some more will show their skills. In the third hall there is also a quiet zone again where you can find the merchandise stands and many food stalls.

On the Friday before the festival, on 21st March 2025, starting from 10:00 PM, the festival invites you to the official E-tropolis Festival pre-party at Turbinenhalle 2 featuring a powerful mix of EBM, Synth Pop, Future Pop, Industrial, and beloved scene classics. As usual, entry to the pre-party is free with a valid current E-tropolis Festival ticket.
