Few artists embody creative risk quite like POPPY. She is constantly reinventing herself and has moved far beyond her early performance art provocations to become one of the most unpredictable and compelling figures in modern heavy music. Her evolution has never been about shock for its own sake; it’s about refusing to stand still.
With her latest album, ‘Negative Spaces’, POPPY takes this philosophy even further. Created alongside producer Jordan Fish, the record tears through stylistic boundaries, effortlessly shifting between sharp pop hooks, industrial abrasion and metallic aggression. It’s bold, confrontational and meticulously crafted - proof that experimentation and precision are not mutually exclusive.
Her recent collaborations highlight her versatility. By working with KNOCKED LOOSE, BABYMETAL and AMY LEE, she has demonstrated her ability to adapt without compromising her identity. Each partnership feels intentional rather than opportunistic and is another extension of her restless creative drive.
