Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer BILLY RAFFOUL has emerged as one of Canada’s most compelling musical storytellers. Hailing from Leamington, Ontario, Raffoul effortlessly blends riff-driven Rock‘n’Roll with deeply personal acoustic confessionals. Through universal stories carried by unforgettable melodies, his music speaks to emotions and experiences that resonate with listeners everywhere.
That authenticity has earned Billy Raffoul a devoted global audience, resulting in hundreds of millions of streams, sold-out concerts around the world, and widespread praise from leading publications including Billboard, American Songwriter, Paste, and many others. Last summer, Raffoul embarked on an ambitious creative project that explored two very different sides of his musical identity through the release of two full-length albums.
The first, ‘Billy Raffoul’, is an intimate acoustic collection inspired by a transformative journey to South Africa, exploring themes of connection, reflection, and vulnerability. The second, ‘When I Cross The River’, embraces a much heavier direction - a Rock record designed to be played loud.
Reflecting on the album, Raffoul explains: “‘When I Cross The River’ is a homecoming in so many ways. At 19, I left my hometown of Leamington, Ontario, to move to Nashville, Tennessee. The river I’m referring to is the Detroit River, which I crossed every time I came home. I went there intending to make a Rock‘n’Roll album, but instead, most of the music I released over the following decade ended up being acoustic. It took more than ten years, but I’ve finally made the Rock album I always wanted to record.”
His latest release, ‘Live At Seacliff Park ‘25’, captures the energy of the hometown album release concert he performed last August in Leamington. The live EP features five songs from ‘When I Cross The River’, including the heartfelt ‘Get Along’, a love song inspired by meeting his girlfriend and the timeless debate of The Rolling Stones vs. The Beatles, as well as ‘Canadian’, a powerful Rock anthem reflecting the experiences of countless immigrants who left behind their homes and everything they knew in search of a new life.
In December 2026, BILLY RAFFOUL will return to Europe for a select run of headline shows, performing in London and across Germany, bringing his signature blend of heartfelt songwriting and powerful live performances back to European audiences.
