Goldfrapp
In 1999 Alison Goldfrapp and Will Gregory founded the British Synthpop band GOLDFRAPP. At the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2003, they received a price of the best website and were nominated in 2001 for the Mercury Music Prize. Their most successful title up to now, which reached even place 4 in the British charts in 2005, is ‘Ooh La La’ which probably carries each person away.
On the 19th of March, 2010 they released with ‘Head First’, their fifth studio album which reminds stylistically of the Synthpop of the 80s. From this album also comes their single ‘Rocket’ being most successful in Germany up to now reaching position 38 in the German charts. Now, in September and October, they come for only four concerts to Germany and on the 4th of October, 2010 also to Munich to the Muffathalle!
