The American Post-Punk trio GOSSIP was founded in 1999 in Searcy. At the latest since the release of their single ‘Heavy Cross’ out off the album ‘Music for Men’ released in 2009, charismatic front woman Beth Ditto (voice), Nathan Howdeshell (Brace Paine / bass, guitar) and Hannah Blilie (drums) are probably well-known to anyone of us. In Germany, the band reached golden status as well as platinum status with ‘Music for Men’. The lyrics of GOSSIP are very demanding and inspire to argue with political and social subjects.
In autumn, this phenomenal band - that corresponds neither optically nor tonally to the current beauty ideal - will go on an extensive tour after some festival appearances. In the course of this tour, they come to Munich’s Zenith on 3rd December 2010.
