One day, it was closely after completing studio recordings on their then-latest album ‘Blender’, singer Jan Plewka quit being a member of SELIG leading to the complete breakup in 1999 eventually. A band having had significant influence on German rock music in the 1990s ceased to exist therewith. But the glimmer of hope with the fans of seeing a SELIG reunion one day never really did cease and when out of the blue there was this little announcement in 2008 of the band doing a comeback it was like Christmas happening earlier this year.
Subsequently, the band entered the studio to begin with the recordings of a new album, which would become ‘Und Endlich Unendlich’. The release was followed up with live appearances. Now they’re doing it again for the newest effort ‘Von Ewigkeit Zu Ewigkeit’, bringing them to various cities across Germany and on 2nd December that will be Dortmund.
