Gossip, Hercules And Love Affair
The whole story of GOSSIP began in 1999 when three individuals found together to eventually form what is now occupying top positions of the charts. That is not due to cheesy, soft pop, but with their very special blend of modern post punk and the socially critical lyrics of front woman Beth Ditto who was and still is not afraid of speaking her mind no matter how hot the topic might be. Well, ok there’s pop in it as well, but here it is used rather as a means of transportation and it serves its purpose very well.
The trio already has released their fourth album ‘Music For Men’, cementing their standing in international music even more and exposing them to even larger audiences around the world. Also the three-piece is known for their energy-laden and extraordinary live shows, stirring an audience like within an instant and on 8th December the attendees at Düsseldorf’s Philipshalle will be in for the party of their lives.
