Mr. Big
MR. BIG is an US-American Hard-Rock band which was originally founded in 1988. After the band resolved in 2002, there was a reunion in 2009. Founding member Billy Sheehan is surely one of the best bassists in the Hard-Rock / Heavy Metal scene. Other band members are singer Eric Martin, guitarist Paul Gilbert and drummer Pat Torpey. They had their breakthrough with their second album ‘Lean Into It’, and particularly with the single coming from it ‘To Be With You’, in 1991.
After their reunion in 2009, they went on world tour and published in combination a live DVD and a live album under the title ‘Back To Budokan’. On the 21st of January 2011 they released their latest album ‘What If …’ and started once more to a tour in March which leads them in the beginning to South America and in summer to Europe. On the 30th of May, 2011 we can experience MR BIG also in the Kesselhaus in Munich.
