News from the underground. Today TITAN KILLER from Vienna, Austria. Just the other day I got a mail from VladPromotion (it was a very nice email and another nice opportunity for this old MF) and through Vlad I discovered TITAN KILLER and decided to give them the RoD treat. TITAN KILLER is a Vienna based 5-piece band formed in 2015. TK’s lyrical themes range from fantasy to society / history. The sound is heavy and has the typical Heavy / Power Metal trademarks: up-tempo songs, high vocals and raw power. Here and there I detect a small VOLBEAT vibe (which is OK if it is not one of the essential trademarks). Max Fuchs’ voice is nice to listen to as he knows his craft and never pushes his limits. The overall production sounds real nice considering this is an independent production without involvement of a label.
Conclusion: TITAN KILLER is a nice sounding young band with potential but at the moment the compositions lack that certain something. That one song that gets stuck in your head.
