You want Thrash? You got Thrash! I present: The Hague’s finest fist full of old-school violence DEFAZER! DEFAZER were formed in 2015 and they play Thrash Metal. In 2017 they released a four-song EP called ‘Order Out Of Chaos’ and now in 2020 we finally get the long awaited full-length debut ‘Burning Horizon’. I really like the overall energy of this band, up-tempo from start to end, old-school shredding, fast drums and a vocalist that sound fresh, energetic and savage and yeah, I like the gang-shouts. I really get an old-school SLAYER vibe here only that these guys (and girl) never sound as evil and negative as Tom Araya’s boys. I am unable to highlight a specific song because it feels wrong to listen to the songs separated from the other (just rock out to the whole record, no other way). This is a fine piece of Thrash fucking Metal, I can almost smell the shitty club with the cheap bear, reeking of cold smoke and whiskey where I would join the mosh for DEFAZER.
Conclusion: If you dig Thrash you will love this, period!
