Review Flash

Goth Rock from Germany is what JACOB’S FALL play and they do it with passion, that much is definitely audible! JACOB’S FALL was formed in 2016 in Eisleben, Germany. All involved musicians are veterans in the scene since the 90s. Sound-wise this is typical Goth Rock but produced in a top-notch way. Singer Christian Faust is the centrepiece of the band’s sound, so everything is arranged like a stage for his soulful vocals to maximize the effect. Guitars, bass and drums are well executed and work as a way to bring out Faust’s deep. Melancholic vocals as much as possible. The only downside of this release is the constant use of Keys or Synths in the background, this white noise drags the overall experience down some notches because those sounds make it difficult to listen to a full song without wanting to smash something (you guys found an effective way to irritate me into a frenzy).

Conclusion: For fans of heavy music with additional ambient style sounds this might be paradise.
