Heavy Music from Japan tends to be very hard for me to get into, differences in phrasing, pace and energy can be irritating at first. To call SIGNIFICANT POINT furious is a matter of course, they play virtuous, hard, fast and vocalist George Itoh is energetic and wild like a charging tiger. The names of the songs read like witnessing the invention of US Metal in the golden years: ‘You’ve got the Power’ is a straight, fast banger, ‘Attacker’ is even faster and hilariously hysteric in pace and power. If you dig relentless Speed Metal with riffs that cut like blades you are in for a lot of fun with SIGNIFICANT POINT. The only downside for me is that there seems to be no room to breathe no break to showcase another side of these guys. But even though this is true these guys know how to riff and arrange their stuff nicely.
Conclusion: For fans of LOUDNESS and X JAPAN.
