Review Flash

PARADOXICIDE from Holland, Ohio is a Groove/ Thrash Metal band that was formed just last year. There is a story about a man that got Covid and had a fever dream about this music which he had to realize as soon as he got better (if your think your “how I met your drummer” story ain’t cool enough stuff like this might suffice). So, there are four lads making Thrash Metal, the music is pretty rough and very straight forward (of simple structure, so to say). The guys from Holland are not rocket scientist when it comes to assembling song but for the music, they make the also absolutely don’t have to be, the sure are complicated ways to bring down a wall but a hammer will do the same job in a straighter forward way. PARADOXICIDE play caveman music but to be honest: every thrasher has that little hungry caveman inside and something the little bastard needs to be fed. The one thing I did like about the Band's press-text is worth to be cited: “PARADOXICIDE makes no claims to the quality of the music and lyrics. We also make no apologies for them either.” Nuff said!

Conclusion: If you like your music rough like a woodchip wallpaper, yellowed by years of nicotine abuse and the ingrained smell of sex and whiskey: check out PARADOXICIDE!
