Review Flash

BREATHE YOUR LAST is a band I did get to know via Instagram, Javier the vocalist wrote me a direct message and asked me if I would be interested in reviewing the second 38:35 minute strong full-length called ‘Apocalypse’ and guess what? I said yes! As some of you know I started to take a liking of the Blackened Thrash, Death Metal and even Death’n’Roll genres lately and now I am sitting here listening to Javier’s mix of growls, gutturals and overall kinda angry vocals over straightforward songs with a melodic kick to it. The band exists since 2017 and is kind of an international joint venture with the mission to rip your head clean off. Javier Garcia, the vocalist and riff-smith of the band hails from Spain while Bass-ace Jan Hauschild is a fellow German and drummer Kaden Fletcher is Australian. The band’s sound is somewhat in-between Groove Metal and Death Metal with bits and pieces of rhythm driven Heavy Rock. The only downside for me is that I am not a fan of gutturals at all, aside from that this is a groovy, sinister beast of a record and you should definitely give it a spin.

Conclusion: Fierce as fuck kick-in-the-face metal for people that use cheap and rough Whiskey for eye drops.
