Billy Idol & Kaiser Franz Josef
The shocking-blonde Rock rebel returned to Germany for several concerts, one of them at the Tanzbrunnen in Cologne. BILLY IDOL has built musical bridges between Punk and Hard Rock and fascinated the music world with ‘Rebel Yell’, ‘Dancing With Myself’, ‘Flesh For Fantasy’ or ‘Cradle Of Love’. He made an amazing comeback in 2006 with the CD ‘Devil's Playground’. After more than a decade, the Punk provocateur returned to the stages, which he captured with shrill songs, aggressive attitudes and the charm of the middle finger. Now, BILLY IDOL finally came back to Germany!

Arch Enemy - “Will To Power Tour 2018” - Support: Dawn of Disease & The Charm The Fury
During their current European Summer tour, the well-known box office success ARCH ENEMY and their iconic lead woman Alissa White-Gluz paid a visit to several cities besides their festival dates for some club concerts as well. Whereas the Melodic Death Metal band, which was founded in the Swedish city of Halmstad, will perform at diverse big festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Elb-Riot Festival in Germany, only Western Germany was blessed with an exclusive live gig in Cologne on Monday, July 9th at the E-Werk. Accompanied by the also female-fronted Dutch Metal band THE CHARM THE FURY there was another band that presented itself at that evening as a special gig: Napalm Records’ boarding pupils of DAWN OF DISEASE from Osnabrück, Germany, who launched the evening.

Arch Enemy, The Charm The Fury
Front women are the exception in Metal. The majority of people would think of bands like NIGHTWISH or WITHIN TEMPTATION when they hear about front women. But last night they have been taught a better lesson. Last night, ARCH ENEMY made a stop in Luxembourg, after playing at a lot of festivals recently, and hell yeah, they made the Rockhal on fire! ARCH ENEMY were been accompanied by the Dutch band THE CHARM THE FURY, which completed a great concert experience that night.

Chelsea Wolfe - “Europe 2018” - Support: Emma Ruth Rundle (Solo)
Far away from my home base in Northern Germany it was the first time for me visiting Karlsruhe because that was my only chance to see CHELSEA WOLFE live during her “Europe 2018” tour. Karlsruhe is one of the cities where CHELSEA WOLFE and band play a concert on this tour, at the cosy Jubez café and club. The venue is located just a few minutes of walk away from the magnificent castle, so it was no brainer that I had to visit it before going to the concert. Very impressive! Another huge plus of this venue: it has air conditioning and they use it! Such a blessing on a hot summer day. Entry time was 7:30 pm, people started slowly showing up at the venue around seven on this summer day and actually Monday evening.

Sick Puppies - “European Fury Tour” 2018 - Special guest: Psycho Village
Australia’s hottest Alternative Metal band SICK PUPPIES are back from the (almost) dead to play a singular German gig this summer in the wonderful Cologne ARTheater. SICK PUPPIES formed back in 1997 and rose to sudden YouTube-fame in 2006 (yeah, these things existed already back then) with their song ‘All the same’. After releasing three immensely successful albums after having moved to Los Angeles, they lost their singer and guitarist Shimon Moore, who decided to leave the band to pursue different interests. The two remaining band members decided to continue without him and auditioned for a new singer. In 2016 they revealed that they had found a new vocalist with Bryan Scott, and they released a new album named Fury in spring 2016.
