Hundreds & Miss Kenichi
My first contact with HUNDREDS was when I heard a song of the band in local radio. Then, they were playing at Wave Gotik Treffen 2014 in Leipzig, but sadly I could not make it. The happier I was when I saw the band finally playing in my home town. No question that I would finally check them out playing live after all those positive critics I heard.

Die Kammer
The weather on this evening was more than unpleasant when I was on my way to the Live Club Barmen in Wuppertal in order to see DIE KAMMER. And actually I was not in the best mood but with the prospect of a wonderful concert evening, I knew this will lift it up again. The Live Club Barmen is a small venue for familiar shows and actually perfect for this kind of concerts.

Front 242 & Steril
While there is still no new material in sight, and probably might never come, Belgian EBM pioneers FRONT 242 are on a club tour again in Europe to present their overhauled classics. But as FRONT 242 are always a quite exciting live act and rather unfrequently play club shows in Germany, there was reason enough not going to miss the event.

Holly Johnson & DJ
In order to promote his new album ‘Europe’, HOLLY JOHNSON had also some dates in Germany. The show at the Live Music Hall in Cologne with a capacity of 1,300 people was sold out. A great part of the audience was more of my age and thus danced already to the sound of FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD in the discotheque once. I also maintain that on this evening the audience was dominated by men. The evening was opened by a DJ who played mixes of songs mainly from the eighties. Surely a nice attunement but of course we all waited impatiently to finally see HOLLY JOHNSON

Revolverheld & Julian Le Play
The final show of the current REVOLVERHELD tour was taking place in Bochum. And there was a huge demand for the band, resulting in a sold-out venue. The hall was packed and later on, the band would be excited about this success. They were already playing in Bochum several times before, at the Riff or the Zeche, much smaller venues. As support, REVOLVERHELD brought Austrian artist JULIAN LE PLAY.
