Grand Avenue, Alpha Academy
We decided at short notice to attend this show and at least for me it was a step onto new grounds as I've never seen GRAND AVENUE or their support ALPHA ACADEMY ever before. But I would get to know them...

De/Vision, Tenek, X-Divide
The show two days ago would have fit much better distance-wise, but well, I was not in the country and so, the only chance to see DE/VISION on their current tour was this show in Cologne. And the show was well worth the long ride with its traffic jams…

Indica - Showcase 2010
Today’s INDICA showcase event was aligned for around 300 invited journalists to promote their new album ‘A Way Away’. The location Spindler & Klatt is a club directly at the Spree River for dinners and events or to book it as location, very stylish and modern with long white drapes, light installations and big, comfy settee. Outside, you can find a terrace with white painted planks. You can sit there in summer but at this evening all furniture was removed. It was comparatively windy and cold. Even better inside!

Alec Empire
German ALEC EMPIRE is most notable for being the front man of ATARI TEENAGE RIOT, releasing a couple successful album until they broke up in 2000. Beginning of 2010, the band announced a reunion show. Walking on solo paths from the break-up of his former band, he developed kind of an erratic manner, musically spoken. He never was clinging to the same musical genre twice, which resulted in albums such as 'Low on Ice', an ambient collage, or 'Les Étoiles Des Filles Mortes' where he was flirting with experimental Jazz stuff. Apart from releasing stuff under his own name, he's known for having several ongoing musical activities under different aliases, some of which being NINTENDO TEENAGE ROBOTS or JAGUAR. His latest release goes by the name of the EP 'Shivers' and was published through his own Eat Your Heart Out label in 2009. http://www.myspace.com/alecempire
