A-HA
Two days before the concert I received an email from Universal that I was granted a photo pass for the concert of the legendary Norwegian band A-HA. Arriving one and a half hour too early at the backstage entrance of Heineken Music Hall I was really looking forward to seeing and photographing my first A-HA concert.

Epica, Holy Moses, Autumn, Dylath-Leen, Xystus
For those people who couldn’t get enough of the Metal Female Voices Fest there is an other indoor festival. With the difference that this time there is more diversity in the line-up. Ten Weyngaert reminds of the first MFVF edition and it is good to be there altough it is freezing and cold. In the venue people are walking around between the bar, merchandise and the stage. There is enough space to have a nice conversation or to enjoy the music. Luckily the venue is not hard to find, because a red tourbus is the sign that there is something going on.

It was the second of three concerts in the Netherlands and with the DVD recordings in a monumental venue this promised to be one of those special nights.

We had a look over their shoulder, this is what we saw.

Sinead O'Connor and Sly & Robbie
This Line-up was promising an extraordinary concert, featuring Sinead O’Connor and Sly&Robbie. Anyone should have heard about Sinead O’Connor due to her hit from 1990 “Nothing compares 2U”. She is touring now until end of February through big and small concert halls all over the world with her second album released this year “Thrown down your arms”. This album impresses with good Dub, Roots-Reggae and dance hall sound.
