Album Review
‘Fabula Magna’ is the third release by Gothic-Metal rockers CORONATUS, consisting of nothing new but the average take on their usual route of gothic infusion mixed with heavy metal inspiration with your modern Rock’n’Roll energy surrounding the whole ordeal. For instance, ‘Tantalos’ tends to use the guitar riffs to balance out the vocal chords that carry the music right along through. Just like ‘Kristallklares Wasser’, the same ordeal occurs when this song plays, the same source of energy is used as the guitar riffs play and the vocal chords begin to present that balancing method of tone that lets the music be carried right on through.
Nothing prevents this music from stopping; it just plays and never seems to want to stop itself from its non-stop energy. CORONATUS’ style is very in-depth and portrays its unique gothic heavy metal style with added rock vibes that can easily be pointed out during certain solo riffs and double-bass action. CORONATUS’ ‘Fabula Magna’ is yet to be known as another accomplish for this band and will surly lead to an arrangement of other sources of musical creativity that simply cannot be mislead.
