When it comes down to creating a "greatest hits" or "best of" combo how do you narrow down the right tunes to chose from? For Norwegian hard rock powerhouse act JORN he knows exactly what tunes are worthy of being thrown upon his best of... entitled ‘Dukebox’ expressing upon the listener 16-tracks of powerhouse rock blended well with metal influences located in between the mix-ups. Some of the "best of" classics worth listening for include ‘Man of the Dark’, ‘War of the World’, ‘Lonely are the Brave’ and ‘Shadow People’ not to mention a added new version of ‘Out to every Nation’ thrown in to expand that classic vibe.
But as far as music goes, JORN's attempts at crafting together music are strong with diverse vocal skills located on each song. As far as the ones enlisted beforehand, those alone set the perfect scene for this source of music. JORN only has crafted together this insightful source of material, but spanning a career over 30 albums to date this front man (Jørn Lande) I is also part of other numerous acts such as MILLENIUM, ARK and MASTERPLAN. JORN has gone from project to project showcasing his talents as much as possible. This musical style aiming towards a more narrow direction with a more experimental vibration being less involved, writing nothing but good honest music. In close lyrically speaking you can relate to and instantly indentify with what JORN has to say entering a whole new realm of music that’s just seeking attention.
