THE RIFLES are on tour in coming spring! In spite of still being on the studio at the moment, THE RIFLES already contemplate how to present their new songs to the German audience. In April the four Britons will come back to Germany for five club shows. RIFLES singer Joel Stoker and guitarist Luke Crowther have been so thrilled by an OASIS show in the year 1996, that they decided to form a band themselves. Being inspired by the Britpop hype at that time and the sweeping sound of THE CLASH, THE RIFLES created their very own indie rock sound. Established radio DJs, such as, Zane Lowe (BBC Radio 1/Beats 1) among others, recognized even back then the band's great potential and took THE RIFLES far by playing them frequently on the radio. A loyal fan base arose that co-funded the last album through crowd-funding. Having been an insiders' tip in London THE RIFLES achieved true greatness in the indie scene. After the original lineup got back together in 2013 and released the album `NONE THE WISER´, the band regained its old strength. All the more, one can look forward to its continuation...
THE RIFLES will be accompanied by the British indie rock band WHITECLIFF on their tour, that, like THE RIFLES back then, are referred to as a “hotly-tipped newcomer” by renowned radio stations in Britain.
