Lola Angst have returned to earth! Alexandar Goldmann and his fat little Lola invite you to the “Dark Kasperle Theater”, a highly subtle and sarcastic parody of the German Goth scene in form of a classic Punch and Judy show. The show features 16 puppets, puppeteer Benno Lehmann, church organ Lola Angst in person and the world’s first and only Dark Kasperle stage. If you have always asked yourself how Der Graf and the princess of Pohl-land are getting along, whether froggie Naghavi is croaking in his sleep, or whether the ASPerle and the Veljanova are proud parents of any offspring, you should not miss out on the world premiere of the Dark Kasperle show on April 30th, 2011, at Die Wabe, Berlin, Germany.
To celebrate the fact, a new homepage will launch on January 1st, 2011 to bring you first insights into the mad world of Berlin-based artist Goldmann. Pay it a visit frequently, as the Goldkasper (sporting a rather fitting Jewish accent with a rolling “Rrrr”) invites you to watch a new puppet show online every week. You will hardly find a higher concentration of English-style black humor anywhere else in the scene. The ticket contingent for the Lola-festival will be strictly limited and pre-sales start in January, so be quick. By the way: the fourth Lola Angst long player is in the final stages of production and will also be released later in 2011. Also, be sure to watch out for more Dark Kasperle shows!
