2.: Band cancellation: HAYSEED DIXIE
Country/bluegrass madmen HAYSEED DIXIE have unfortunately been forced to cancel their scheduled show at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2011. They have been offered a big television appearance in Norway for the same date. A big apology goes out to all those who were looking forward to seeing the Tennessee gang in action. We will try our best to book the band for one of the future editions of SUMMER BREEZE.
3.: BÜLENT CEYLAN Show at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2010
Most of you probably know which artist was the “Surprise Act” who drew the masses to the Main Stage at the best stage time on Saturday at SUMMER BREEZE 2010, causing waves of deafening laughter. For 20 minutes, German comedian and self-confessed metalhead BÜLENT CEYLAN played the role of much beloved janitor Mompfred, ranting about the East Germans and Chinese and ending his show with a proper stage dive.
On February 19th, the Mannheim-based heavy metal comedian presented a few scenes from his appearance in Dinkelsbühl to a TV audience in his own show on the RTL channel. If you want to see Germany's most longhaired Turk again on the SUMMER BREEZE stage or campsite, please visit www.rtlnow.de, where the show is available for streaming (and laughing) at all times.
4.: 10,000 tickets sold – DVDs completely sold out!
The first 10,000 tickets sold out a few weeks ago. This means the last few “SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2009” DVDs are gone too! However, tickets for SUMMER BREEZE Open Air 2011 are still available in our online shop www.silverdust-shop.de for an unbeatable 72.- Euros (incl. parking/camping, excl. pre-sale fees)!
Considering the immense demand for tickets and the fact that SUMMER BREEZE 2010 was already sold out in mid May, we believe this year tickets will only last until around the same time. Therefore: Be quick or be dead!

Here's a little reminder regarding the NEW BLOOD AWARDs 2011, as the deadline is drawing nearer. Those who haven't submitted their applications yet should do so ASAP!
