For the first time in their career, the Californians Papa Roach will be unleashing their alternative neo-metal on the Plaine de la Machine à Feu this year! More hard music has also been added in the shape of Life of Agony: it looks like there will be a whole load of moshing to be had.
Formed from the ashes of Dub War, the English group Skindred will also be coming to Dour for the first time this year. On the Belgian side of things, you can find Angel Crew, a group who are regulars at the festival and who will be coming to celebrate their reformation with the Dour public.
Prefer something a bit more experimental? Then the collective The Ocean can offer you their progressive style of metal, a style that has as much in common with punk as it does with electro music and even with classical music.
And if you’re not scared of discovering something new, then The Crazy Motherfuckers From Hell are the group you need to go and see. Four singers and five musicians from the Dour region, their style is hardcore and they are looking likely to make a few waves at Dour this year.
There will be more electro, techno, hip-hop, reggae and rock confirmations in the coming days!
