LUMINANCE, the solo project of DA, the French musician based in Brussels (also in the band SOROR DOLOROSA), chose Reflections of Darkness to premiere a new track: ‘The Perfect Blend’. This track announces LUMINANCE's first full-length album ‘Sans Visage’ (‘Without Face’ in French), which is due to be released tomorrow. LUMINANCE was created in 2012 and is one of the most promising new projects in the post-wave genre. And also one of the most prolific, with 2 EP's, 3 singles and one split-tape. On this new track, DA created a 'perfect blend' between classical wave/ analog synth-pop sounds and a deep, dystopian, nearly mystical feeling. The robotic rhythm and the keyboard harmonies conjure up an eerie, dreamy atmosphere, on which the heavily reverberated vocals hover to take you on an epic emotional journey. Just like the two other preview tracks, ‘Twin Gods’ and especially ‘Left Out’ (featuring Darrin C. Huss from PSYCHE), ‘The Perfect Blend’ announces a very ambitious album, full of surprises, which is clearly LUMINANCE's Magnum Opus. 500 vinyl copies of ‘Sans Visage’ will be issued by Die Blinden Records, a very young Belgian label based in Flanders, and 500 CD's will be burned by the French label Manic Depression Records.
