Roadrunner Records is proud to announce the signing of critically acclaimed Dutch goth-metallers Within Temptation for the UK, Australia, and Japan. Fronted by the nightingale-throated Sharon den Adel, the band is completed by Robert Westerholt (guitar), Jeroen Van Veen (bass), Stephen van Haestregt (drums), Martijn Spierenburg (keyboards), and Ruud Jolie (guitar).
“We are very happy that our new album is being released by Roadrunner in the U.K., Australia, and Japan,” say Sharon and Robert. “A lot of our fans from these countries send us messages requesting a local album release. We wanted to work with a label that understands our music and now we are definitely at the right place.”

Sweden's IN FLAMES have posted the following message on their website:"Yes ladies and gentlemen the album´s done, when it comes to the music that is we still have to do the cover, booklet etc. Once again we like to say how pleased we are with the result and we can´t wait until you get your hands on the finished product.
This is the eighth IN FLAMES album and it´s awesome to feel, as excited as it was our first. The name of the album will NOT be »Crawl Through Knives«, instead it will be »Come Clarity«

Testament cancelled - DIMMU BORGIR take over the slot on Earthshaker SaturdayDue to some important personal obligations arosen in the Testament camp, which had to be taken care of immediatley, the Bay Area thrashers unfortunately had to cancel their appearance at this years Earthshaker Fest. But don’t worry, although time was short we managed to find a real top class replacement:
DIMMU BORGIR will take over the slot on Earthshaker Saturday with an exclusive german festival show this year. At sunset the Norwegians will deliver the perfect soundtrack with their spectacular show and symphonic-hard beats.
