THE FLAMES are back: The new single ‘Lunatic Dreams’ comes out on 6th March and the album Caution: Heat Inside’ will be released on 3rd April 2009. But that’s not all! After the album release the four-piece hits the road for an unusual tour through Germany’s cinemas. When their song ‘Everytime’ became a cult hit through the commercials of a soft drink manufacturer it was the breakthrough for the band from Mannheim after 10 years of band history. The four-piece around Oliver Heydenreich went on tour, the media presence at the huge TV stations and concerts in front of a big audience did their fair share and brought the single into the charts. But many were wondering why there wasn’t a follow-up in the same style. Instead THE FLAMES kept true to their usual sound on ‘Strike A Light’ (2005) being much more rock-oriented. NO winder as ‘Everytime’ not only was a commissioned work but a rather untypical song for the band.- CINEMA BIZARRE - New website online
