KONTRAST, still this name’s on the agenda. Even though ‘Vision und Tradition’ needed more than four years to be completed, the self-appointed executioners of dark humour haven’ lost a single bit of their bitchiness: With the cynical synth pop persiflage ‘Durchbruch’, the creators of the Goth classic ‘Einheitsschritt - 3 Schritte vor und 3 zurück’ give orders to dance again.Source: Newsletter

Anathema, Demians
With influences from RADIOHEAD, PINK FLOYD, THE MARS VOLTA or BEETHOVEN it’s clear on which musical paths ANATHEMA wander. Who sinks into sadness, only sensing the shadows of existence and decides to leave this world, has certainly found the right soundtrack with the music of ANATHEMA. The term ANATHEMA means something like excommunication or just atrocity in German. Thanks to support slots for big names such as BOLT THROWER and PARADISE LOST and the local patriotism of the Scourers, ANATHEMA soon can rely on a loyal fan base, which now has the chance to come to the Matrix.

The queen of Dark Wave returns with h anew album after 10 years. Here are the first reactions to the fantastic new album ‘The smallest Acts pf Kindness’:The Media:
MTV Germany:
Kid Rock "All Summer Long", Fady Maalouf "Blessed", Shaggy & Trix & Flix
"Feel The Rush", Leona Lewis "Better In Time", Ich + Ich "So Soll Es Bleiben", Rihanna "Take A Bow" and so on. These are the current German single charts. Is there any artist amongst the mentioned that would deliver a real message? Or an act that is integer enough to prove artistic independence? NO, just because, ANNE CLARKE sounds so refreshing. Her new record is no journey back to the 80s, but a challenge for the pasted pop of our time.
