After the shows in Berlin at the IFA and Leipzig’s Games Convention, CINEMA BIZARRE now hit the road for their first Scandinavia tour through Sweden, Finland and Norway. The band is very much looking forward to the shows Oslo, Stockholm, Malmö and Helsinki as well as to the show in the Estonian city Tallinn. The CINEMA BIZARRE concert is sold-out for weeks and the Milan show had to be relocated to a bigger venue because of the great demand. CB fans in St. Petersburg and Moscow also have to hurry as there’s only a limited amount of tickets left. Of course CINEMA BIZARRE don’t forget their German fans and so the band is looking forward to the upcoming December shows in Bochum (26th Dec.) and Hamburg (27th Dec.) for which they’ve something very special up their sleeves.- Details

The NRW newcomers of the year LUXUSLLÄRM prepare to conquer the rest of the republic as well. News just reached us that the band has won in 30 categories of the sought rock and pop award of the German rock and pop musician association: Best German CD Album, Best Song of the Year and Best Female Rock Singer. The award goes to: LUXUSLÄRM!Now the waiting is over and the great album ‘1000 km bis zum Meer’ is gonna be released on 4th October 2008. The fantastic WOOG RIOTS released their new single ‘Frank Backwards’ on 2nd Oct.2008. The duo, most notable for their Anti Pop, explains and protests with little words but much with their most recent album PASP. Multi-instrumentalists Silvana Battisti and Marc Herbert engaged several other musicians for the tour: Florian Malicke, label head of Mira Records and long-time musician in various bands, now plays the Micro Korg for the WOOG RIOTS and is responsible for the grooving synth bass - and Florian is the grandson of Heinz Erhardt by the way.- Details

The German-Israeli formation OFRIN releases its wonderful album ‘On Shore Remain’ on 24th October 2008. The preparations for the release already are at full bla1st and the first photo shootings with singer Ofri Brin and KD (For Face and Maxi) are already done. Work on an impressive visual stage decoration and light show for the record release concert T Berlin’s Glashaus 29th Oct.2008 is in progress. Be curious.
