The Melodic Thrashcore band SCRATCHED SURFACE from Germany hits the road to kick your ass. On the one hand the sound of the album is inspired by straight Thrash Metallike Machine Head, Metallica, Slayer and Sepultura and on the other bymodern metal like Slipknot and Mudvayne as well as hard Metalcore andSwedish death-thrash like the Haunted and At The Gates. SCRATCHED SURFACEare mixing this extreme and hard sound full of moshparts and intense grooveswith their own characteristic style along with various emotional, melodicparts and create thereby their own, distinctive sound. Songs like “Hold TheLights You Own” or “The Great Fall” are standing in accord to powerful andbrute Oldschool Thrashers like “Break To Arise”.

In a post on his blog at Bonharris.com, Nitzer Ebb member Bon Harris has confirmed that Nitzer Ebb are no longer signed to Mute: "We are still in negotiation with various interested parties. Some very promising offers, and more coming in daily. Contrary to several rumours we have not signed with anyone as yet." The production for the new Nitzer Ebb album in the meantime is basically complete. Flood will do the final mix of the material later this month. There is also a Nitzer Ebb documentary in the making although it has been a bit delayed for various reasons. The band have met up with potential collaborators in the LA area to continue and complete this project.

Bobby returns after the summer with their third single from the acclaimed album "Thursday in This Universe". This time the single is the uptempo 80's influenced track "So Many Scars". The single, released digitally, presents you with two exclusive dancefloor remixes by Dynamikk. One radio edit remix together with an extended remix. Add to this the album version of the single track together with the beautiful ballad "Romantic Flow" and you have a perfect electropop package. Bobby also opens the new electropop compilation "electropop.1" released by Conzoom Records on October 31. Other artists featured on the compilation are Nun, Lowe, Thermostatic, Universal Poplab and The Mobile Homes. Many of them with exclusive remixes. CDM released September 19!

„God devotion, god devotion! Animal fever, animal fever!“ A repetitive mantra on a ritualistic Electro-beat made French Art-Electro-project Die Form’s track “Bite of God” one of the most distinctive and memorable club experiences of the Nineties. The special way that Philippe Fichot and Eliane P. were contrasting monotonous rhythms, cold, synthetic sounds and manipulated vocals with clear female voices and analogue warmth created an electrifying experience, comparable to a hypnotic pull. Conceived as a multi-medial art project from the very beginning, Die Form combined music, photography and video to a highly intense reflection on love in its extreme forms. Die Form have always used their releases as vehicles for expressing their emotions rather than playing the part of a remote observer… which accounts for their music also being able to unfold its power to full impact when removed from its multi-medial context on the dance floor of a club… and which makes tracks like “Bite Of God” still mandatory spins at any decent dark disco event.
