On 19th & 20th June 2009, the biggest festival of the East Württemberg area takes place. After the past successful years, the new issue promises to become a diverse and up-to-date selection of high-quality acts, musical treats and emerging newcomers. Except for the two headliners, we can announce a big band package now:

CALLEJON - DORO - END OF GREEN - ENSIFERUM - EXILIA - FEUERSCHWANZ -
FIDDLERS GREEN - HASSLIEBE - SILVERLANE - STRINGFACE - VAN CANTO

With DORO we managed to get the one and only rock & metal queen for our festival. She’s the most successful German rock icon with a really unique career in the music business with 8.5 million sold records worldwide. On 13th December2008 she was celebrating with more than 8.000 attendees her 25th live anniversary. Also her performance at RaH 2009 will be something special. With her new album ‘Fear No Evil’ and sweeping anthems such as ‘All we are’, ‘I Rule the Ruins’ and ‘Für Immer’ is going to put up one hell of a show. Finland, land of the thousand lakes and ENSIFERUM which – after the sensational success of their last album ‘Victory Songs’ staying over 4 weeks in the German album chart – creamed off the profits. After sold-out headliner shows in Europe and the US within the scope of the Pagan Fest tour as well as on the big festivals, ENSIFERUM hit Germany for a few shows in 2009 prior to the release of their new album.

Enriching the program are the folk-punk rockers of FIDDLERS GREEN bringing their new album, the Goth rocker and chart breaker END OF GREEN as well as the sensational newcomers CALLEJON tearing down the clubs and halls of the republic right now and the Italian band EXILIA with new songs. Besides all these big names the current newcomers won’t get a raw deal either. SILVERLANE , the band around SUBWAY TO SALLY drummer Simon Michael and VAN CANTO, who knew to convince on many festival stages with their a capella sound last year are an insider’s tip and torchbearer at the same time. Before them, the modern thrashers STRINGFACE and the German Punk/Rock band HASSLIEBE open the festival evenings as local heroes and as late night combo we’ll have the fun combo FEUERSCHWANZ.
