Three years after the release of their last long player „Optimiertes Leiden“, Arne Schaub returns with an all-new line up of his Trümmerwelten. “PsychoTötungsEquipment” is the band’s most forceful, versatile and bold album to date. From shredding, distorted Industrial tracks, straightforward Techno Body smashers to groovy experiments and moments of digitally distorted despair, Schaub creates an unsettling magnum opus that polarizes, fascinates and enthrals the listener. Trümmerwelten have reduced their sound to the bare essentials and integrated a lot of new influences. “PsychoTötungsEquipment” is the consequent evolution of the classic Trümmerwelten-sound as well as an addictive departure to new frontiers. - Details

Dark-Electro-Gothic-Pop-EBM? On “No Paradise”, Avoid Kharma refuse to be easily pigeonholed. Front man and mastermind David K. (ex-Trümmerwelten) and his gang fuse heavy Gothic pathos with fat beats, solid synth sounds and catchy melodies to a versatile, dark and floor-smashing mix. Whether they are creating straightforward Dark-Electro-anthems in the vein of old Terminal Choice or Project Pitchfork, touching on sequencer-laden EBM-attacks or losing themselves in atmospheric Electro Goth – the group’s beats always provide a rock-solid foundation, over which Dave delivers the melodies with a sonorous, deep voice. On the song “The Hostage”, Avoid Kharma have even managed to get Blutengel- and Terminal-Choice-mastermind Chris Pohl to do some guest vocals … and he delivers a mesmerizing vocal duel with David K. as the protagonist’s “inner voice.” “No Paradise” is an ideal soundtrack for red wine and candle light, but also for shaking those limbs in a club … it is all just a matter of volume!
