The Welsh four-piece BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE is unstoppable since the release of their debut ‘The Poison’ in 2005. Over 1 Mio sold copies, world tours with big names like METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN and GUNS’N’ROSES as well as various awards prove the success of the Welshmen The British ‘Q’ even speaks of “The best British Metal band since decades.” Since the release of their second album ‘Scream Aim Fire’ in January, the band is on world tour which will also lead them to Düsseldorf, Munich, Wiesbaden and Berlin between 21st and 29th November 2008. Extraordinary Metal music from England rather carves out a niche existence for many years. Since Britpop and the still up to date wave of Nu Wave bands, most young British musicians to the Indie, rather than to the sounds of slicing guitars and brutal double-bass drum gallops.

On 14th November the SCHANDMAUL portrait film ‘Sinnbilder’ is being released on DVD. The pictures have become great in our opinion. You can take some very intimate insights into our life and because a DVD without music is nonsense, we just added the Wacken concert from 2007, so we just shorten the waiting time for the live CD/DVD we’ll record on 14th November.Attention!!! We reward the fan with the farthest access route and furthermore the attendee who arrives in the most amazing way. First we’d like to say thanks again to this year’s attendees and helpers for making this year’s first Blackfield Festival at the Amphitheatre Gelsenkirchen a memorable event. We received many feedback and praise and are pleased to slip them into the preparations for 2009 which have already started. With the headliner NITZER EBB in Düsseldorf and VNV NATION in Berlin, the line-ups for the second neuWerk festivals are complete. After the incredible start of the neuWerk Festival in December 2007, we’re pleased to announce two festivals for the end of the year. On 26th Dec Berlin’s first neuWerk Festival will take place at the Postbahnhof before we stop at Düsseldorf’s Stahlwerk again on 27th Dec.
