ZITA ROCK FESTIVAL
“Berlin, Berlin we’re driving to Berlin”! A shout like a thunder sounds through the Soccer arenas of the nation every year, when the big ones and the small ones meet up to their happy cup shooting and where the midget upstages the giant again. Since last summer also rock fans and fans of darker sounds can look forward to a journey into the capital. After its last year’s debut, the Zita Rock Festival has successfully arrived in Berlin and already returns on 31st May 2008 with an attractive program, when a fascinating world of pushing guitars, fragile melancholy and driving percussions unfolds behind the historic walls of the Citadel Spandau with the participants of the Bundesvision Song Contest SUBWAY TO SALLY and DOWN BELOW leading the way.

In April 2008 ‘Lovesick Society’ - the brand-new album by Post New Romantic Band AGONISED BY LOVE will be released. The trio describes the new material as: “Much more elaborate electronic pop, …way more romantic and nostalgic than the predecessor ‘All of White Horizons’ or to cut it short the pure soul exhibitionism”. The new single ‘Southern Sun’ due for release on 29th February already provides a little foretaste. Besides the Single Version and the Album Version of the title track, you’ll also find two more highlights i.e. the Single Version of ‘Shelter’ and a remix of ‘Aspetto Solo Te’ contributed by the Electroclash band CLICKS.- Details

Schelmish
In 1999 the foundation stone was laid for a band that - from the beginning - created a special and moody atmosphere during their concerts with their easy and frequently bold character. For a long time they followed the footsteps of medieval sounds based on the motto 'Music from all times and all countries'. But dancing, jugglery, fire-eating and fooling around was not enough for them. In 2006 SCHELMISH made their first steps into electronic music. Ever since they combine traditional sounds with bass, e-guitar and synthesizer elements in an innovative and experimental way opened up a whole new horizon in the 'Shelmography'. Meanwhile they’re not only appearing on medieval-markets, banquets, live-role-playing games and traditional concerts, but also cast a spell on the audiences with their rock program, but not only in Germany. Also abroad, especially in England SHELMISH are already well-known.

OOMPH just have been confirmed for Germany’s biggest festival Rock am Ring / Rock im Park. They’ll play there in the park on Friday 6th June and on Sunday, 7th June at the Ring. Right now OOMPH! are in the studio to finalise the songs for the new album, which is due for a release this year.Here are all OOMPH! live dates at a look.
