Friends of melodic but massive Electro beats are in for a very special treat in this year’s Festive Season! In order to make the wait for their next studio album a little more bearable for their fans, Solitary Experiments have delved into their musical archives to unearth tracks for a superb remix album solely comprised of previously unreleased tracks. The featured remixers are all rather prominent: names like Agonoize, Feindflug, Suicide Commando, Analogue Brain and X-Fusion, to mention but a few, should ring more than one bell with most Electro-aficionados and leave little doubt about the fact that “Compendium” is a real floor burner. With Agonoize and Feindflug, the collaboration went far beyond a mere remix. Instead, the bands got together in their studios to create new songs, combining their trademark elements to an explosive mixture. As a special bonus feature, the CD will contain an access code for a special download website which contains more tracks and a live video. “Compendium” will be released as a limited edition of 1000 copies in a luxurious Digipak at a very special “Season’s Greetings”-price! Thus, better get your copy fast, as long as stocks last! Electroheads should invest into large socks this year… due to the fact that we have not found a way to produce a CD that fits into your X-Mas-stockings, as of yet. (Release Date: 7th december 2007)

25th November 2007
Sonata Arctica, Epica, Ride The Sky
Now prepare for a Sunday evening larded with some strong powermetal from Sweden: Sonata Arctica! Their roots lie in the northern part of Finland. In 1999 they released their first studio-album "Ecliptica". This album became a success and the band started a tour together with the bands Stratovarius and Rhapsody. But Sonata Arctica really came into the picture during the Nightwish tour in 2003. Their best album, so many people say, is also their newest one, the dynamic and epic masterpiece "Unia", (Finnish for "Dreams"). Besides the excellent compositions, containing clever arrangements, a main role is reserved for Tony Kakko. Furtheron, Sonata Arctica consists of Elias Viljanen (guitar), Marko Paasikoski (bass), Tommy Portimo (drums) and Henrik Klingenberg (keyboards). "Unia" appeared in the stores at the 25th of May. The band is supported by Epica, a Dutch symphonic metal band which is growing in popularity rapidly, fronted by the classically educated singer Simone Simons. But first the evening will start with the band "Ride The Sky", founded by ex-Helloween and Masterplan drummer Uli Kusch.
