Sonata Arctica, Epica, Ride The Sky
Now prepare for a Sunday evening larded with some strong powermetal from Sweden: Sonata Arctica! Their roots lie in the northern part of Finland. In 1999 they released their first studio-album "Ecliptica". This album became a success and the band started a tour together with the bands Stratovarius and Rhapsody. But Sonata Arctica really came into the picture during the Nightwish tour in 2003. Their best album, so many people say, is also their newest one, the dynamic and epic masterpiece "Unia", (Finnish for "Dreams"). Besides the excellent compositions, containing clever arrangements, a main role is reserved for Tony Kakko. Furtheron, Sonata Arctica consists of Elias Viljanen (guitar), Marko Paasikoski (bass), Tommy Portimo (drums) and Henrik Klingenberg (keyboards). "Unia" appeared in the stores at the 25th of May. The band is supported by Epica, a Dutch symphonic metal band which is growing in popularity rapidly, fronted by the classically educated singer Simone Simons. But first the evening will start with the band "Ride The Sky", founded by ex-Helloween and Masterplan drummer Uli Kusch.

Again, this is just a demo to let all you friends get an insight in our work in progress.

It will be strictly limited to 1000 copies… a rare gem for any collection! The aggressive mid tempo title track brings together all the elements that have made the Mexican duo ascend the throne of Hard Electro: mighty beats, thudding bass and psychotic shouts.
