One of the most well loved bands to sign with Metropolis in 2005 was Mindless Self Indulgence (MSI), a band whose name manifests itself during their incendiary live shows. Their music is a hybrid of Atari driven electronics with a venomous splash of ADD Punk Rock. In the vein of their cult classic records such as Frankenstein Girls Will Seem Strangely Sexy, MSI and Metropolis Records proudly released You’ll Rebel to Anything. This newly remastered version contains tracks previously only found originally on the clean and vinyl versions, as well as two bonus tracks - including the previously unreleased live version of the fan favorite “Wack” (recorded at the bands legendary three night stand at NYC’s Webster Hall), and “Make Me Cum” from the unreleased “Pink” album - and a live video for their classic song , “Molly.”- Details

In the past few weeks all RAMMSTEIN albums were on the verge of being listed to the Censorship Index and as a consequence further sales of the albums would have been stopped. This summer, a worried “Kreisjugendpfleger” (“district youth guardian”) applied at the Federal Inspection Unit to have all RAMMSTEIN albums indexed as so-called “youth-endangering media”. After negotiations, this action has ceased as of the 10th of October. Fortunately, a review board composed of representatives from the state authorities, youth welfare services, tutors, church and religious groups, and book distributors and publishers did NOT subscribe to the view of the applicant that RAMMSTEIN lyrics were obscene, violence-glorifying, or sexually humiliating. - Details

On the 9th of November, “Grün & Blau” (“Green & Blue”) will be released, a retrospective of East Berlin punk band legend FEELING B, in which RAMMSTEIN's Flake Lorenz and Paul Landers gathered their first experiences as musicians. “Grün & Blau” isn't only a retrospective, but also contains the release of several hitherto believed-to-be-missing songs. Flake has spent the last year in his archive sifting through old records, selecting songs, and remixing them with the goal of giving the songs the kind of sound the young musicians desired back in the day. “Grün & Blau” is accompanied by a 120-page hardcover book, in which Flake has published a selection of texts that help to illuminate then and now through each other - stories from up close, so to speak.
