Forces beyond our control have compelled us to postpone the 2020 edition of the ALCATRAZ festival. Victims of circumstance, we have no choice but to undergo this exceptional situation. Despite our obvious disappointment we fully understand the reasons behind the binding government decisions. Due to the current Corona pandemic, also Amphi Festival is cancelled. Here is the official statement of the promoter: “Dear Amphi Family,
regretfully we have to bend to the Corona virus and its consequences. Sadly, this means that the Amphi Festival 2020 and also Call The Ship To Port 2020 cannot take place! By yesterday’s decree of the federal governors of the states and the German chancellor, all major events remain prohibited until 31 August 2020.

As of today, the NCN 2020 is not cancelled. But still, we got a statement by the promoter about the current situation: “Today it is official: there will be no major events until August 31, 2020. How the State of Saxony will define the word “major events” is not yet foreseeable. We will probably have to be patient for another 1-2 weeks. For all bands, booking agencies, organizers, caterers and production companies, this is an extremely difficult cut in their economic situation. We wholeheartedly wish everyone to survive this situation and to be able to pick up speed again from September.

The cult festival will unfortunately not take place from 7th to 9th August 2020 - event cancelled - line-up will be postponed to 2021 as far as possible - tickets will remain valid!The Taubertal Festival has now been in existence for two and a half decades. For the 25-year jubilee, that should have taken place from August 7th to 9th, 2020, the decision of the cancellation was made yesterday.
