On October 5, a new, dark music event opens its gates at the Markthalle Hamburg: The Hall Of Flame Festival offers a future home for the extreme metal scene in the North. Sascha Jahn comments: “From my own experience, I am aware of that for quite some time now, the North of Germany misses a festival, that is exclusively dedicated to the dark arts”, the organizer says. “That is why the Markthalle Hamburg is the perfect place to close that yawning gap next October with the “Hall Of Flame”.

Swedish masters of progressive Heavy-Rock OPETH have revealed today the title and track listing for their awaited 13th album, ‘In Cauda Venenum’, that’s due out this fall from Moderbolaget / Nuclear Blast Entertainment. Recorded last year at Stockholm’s Park Studios, ‘In Cauda Venenum’ will be released in two versions, in both Swedish and English languages. Various physical and digital formats will be available and additional details will be announced in the coming months.
