He is one of the few Old-School legends who managed to reinvent himself several times: EVERLAST, the Working Class Hero from the San Fernando Valley, who wrote first Rap-history with THE HOUSE OF PAIN (‘Jump Around’) and later as a solo artist crossover world hits on the guitar. ‘Whitey Ford's House Of Pain’ is the first EVERLAST album after eight years and circulates the three career decades of Erik Francis Schrody not only in the title, but also musically. Guest contributions come from Aloe Blacc and Slug (Atmosphere). In September, EVERLAST will also play some mode live shows in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Munich and Cologne.

The circus has moved on. In its fourth year of existence, the Berlin dependence of the festival franchise Lollapalooza, had yet to find another location in Germany’s largest city. This time it is scheduled to happen in the storied Olympiapark and Olympiastadion area, conveniently located inside the Western part of the city. This leaves the hope intact that it will not come to those severe bottlenecks in public transport, which plagued visitors of last year’s edition, which took place in the rather remote Hoppegarten.

The legendary Alternative Rock formation GARBAGE comes on tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their second album ‘Version 2.0’. GARBAGE was formed around the legendary producer Butch Vig (NIRVANA’s ‘Nevermind’ album et al) in Madison, Wisconsin in 1993. In 1995 the band released their self-titled debut album, and it became an instant hit, selling over four million copies world-wide. Scottish singer and guitarist Shirley Manson artfully dominated the visual appearance of the band, making GARBAGE stand out from the rest of the bands of the long-gone “grunge” era.
